Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony PR

On October 19, Heart of Ohio Family Health Centers held a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new Capital Park Family Health Center located at 2365 Innis Road. The new 17,500 sq. ft. facility, which has been serving patients since July, replaces the existing health center located at 2150 Agler Road.

New Capital Park Family Health Center opened July 11 PR

The brand new 17,500 sq. ft. Capital Park Family Health Center opened its doors on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 2365 Innis Road, Columbus. The facility has 17 exam rooms, a community room, and will expand health services for the entire community.

On October 12, Heart of Ohio Family Health Centers held a Groundbreaking Ceremony to kick-off the construction of the new Capital Park Family Health Center to be built at 2635 Innis Road, Columbus. The new 17,500 sq. ft. facility, scheduled to open in August 2011, will replace the existing health center located at 2150 Agler Road, less than a mile from the new facility site.

Osteopathic Heritage Foundations Grant PR

Thanks to a $38,858 grant from the Osteopathic Heritage Foundations 2010 Capital Improvement Initiative, Heart of Ohio Family Health Centers has purchased a van to transport patients to specialist physician appointments, OB/GYN appointments at our Whitehall facility, and to pick up specialty prescriptions.

National Health Center Week 2010 PR

Heart of Ohio Family Health Centers celebrated National Health Center Week 2010 with an open house and dedication ceremony at Whitehall Family Health Center, 882 S. Hamilton Rd., on Aug. 12 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. This event was part of a weeklong campaign (August 8-14) to raise awareness about the mission and accomplishments of America’s Health Centers, and was one of 1,400 events nationwide.

Stimulus Funds PR

Heart of Ohio Family Health Centers™ has been awarded $4.4 million in economic stimulus funding from the Department of Health and Human Services for the construction of a new health care facility on Innis Road in Columbus.

National Health Center Week PR

Heart of Ohio Family Health Centers™ will celebrate National Health Center Week, with a Neighborhood Outreach Project that takes health care providers to the homes of people in need.
